She started her 10 year actuarial career in a property and casualty consulting firm where she analyzed loss reserves for self-insurers and insurance companies for various lines of business including general liability, auto liability, workers’ compensation, and medical malpractice. Then, she moved over to the health industry. In health consulting, she performed reserve estimation and set budgeted rates for large self-funded employers and conducted renewal projections for fully insured plans. At Aon Hewitt health consulting, she was awarded the Top Client Billing Associate for the West Region. At Anthem health insurance company, she assisted the director in coordinating and organizing the workflow of the enterprise valuation team which mainly comprise of yearend and month end financial reporting, led the Actuarial Opinions Continuous Improvement Team and coordinated, and reviewed the deliverables across the team.

He has over 10 years experience in health consulting and insurance. In health consulting, he performed financial analyses including developing budget rates for self-funded employer plans, modeling employee contributions strategies, modeling plan design alternatives, IBNR reserving, and creating utilization and claim experience monitoring reports. In health insurance, he prepared and analyzed Medicare part C and D bids. He also served as the Georgia state lead in the enterprise data validation project in direct support of the enterprise-wide conversion to a new standardized data platform.
