This summary will help stakeholders understand different elements of the model and how they will be displayed on a company&#8217;s balance sheet and in its profit or loss statement.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A short webcast guides you through the summary. You can see a version without animation on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLrLeeuMbuaUeLNX7Qoqlq7Oh3csegFwYn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Youtube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can also download the <a href=\"\/file\/ifrs\/ifrs-17-accounting-model-a3-jan-2018.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one-page summary here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The accounting model summary and presentation are part of our wider effort to help insurers and others understand the requirements of IFRS 17. This activity also includes the establishment of a transition resource group (TRG), which brings companies, auditors and regulators together in a public forum to discuss questions about implementing IFRS 17.
